Two special fun days were recently coordinated and hosted by Ezer Mizion at Tel Aviv's luxurious Sheraton City Tower Hotel - one for mothers of children with cancer and the other for mothers who are themselves cancer patients.

Witnessing the tremendous stress these women are under in their daily struggle for their lives or the lives of their children, Ezer Mizion realized the great importance of a soothing break - a day of fun and pampering where the women have nothing to do but enjoy themselves. So we treat these courageous women each year to a special day for mothers who are living with cancer in the family.

The pampering included makeovers, manicures, and hair styling sessions as well as workshops on topics such as cake decorating, cake baking, jewelry making, applying cosmetics, and more.

Entertainment included singing by Moshe Lahav and a riveting performance by Nimrod Harel, a rising star of "Mind and Magic".  Stand up comedian Efrat Arnon had the women laughing so hard that tears rolled down their faces - happy, optimistic tears.   

Delectable meals rounded off the day.  The women went home laden with gifts - expensive perfumes, wallets, cosmetics, and more.  Even more significantly, the day give them a feeling of hope and empowerment - and a feeling that they can beat their illness.
