\nThat when a child enters the world
\nAn “angel” is born with him in heaven.
\nI have an angel, we all have.<\/p>\n

There is an ancient legend that says
\nThat when a child enters the world
\nA “star” is created together with him in heaven.
\nYou, I, we all have stars. . . .<\/p>\n

There is an ancient legend that says
\nThat when a baby enters the world
\nHe is a\u00a0flower<\/a>\u00a0in the heavenly garden. . .
\nAn angel gives him the dew of heaven to drink
\nAnd nourishes him with the warmth of the stars.<\/p>\n

But sometimes it happens that a star is hidden;
\nThat the rays of warmth and of light are delayed;
\nThat an angel strays from the path
\nand doesn’t water the flowers equally
\nSo that their growth is delayed.
\nAnd some of the flower’s petals are defective.<\/p>\n

But this deficiency doesn’t affect the flower’s
\nbeauty, its happiness, or the glory of its soul.<\/p>\n

Because we know how to “see” with our ears
\nAnd our eyes “hear” the singing of birds.
\nWe have learned to “see” with our hands
\nAnd to “hear” with them melodies and sounds.<\/p>\n

We have learned that man is like a bird in flight.
\nLike a flower that is joyous in G-d’s grace.
\nAnd if there are flowers whose petals are unhealthy
\nTheir souls are rich, their roots are deep.
\nAND YOU ARE G-D’S MESSENGERS<\/b><\/p>\n
