They are so young. Just barely into adulthood. And facing a situation that would throw any mature adult.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should be a blissful time in their life, becoming parents and raising an adorable infant, became a nightmare. Would their precious child grow up as a pitiful orphan?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cloud of blackness followed them everywhere. It was spring but no sunshine permeated their lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until Ezer Mizion. One of the goals of the Cancer Support Division is to dispel the clouds of depression, enabling the patient and his family to move forward in a positive frame of mind, embracing hope for a healthy future. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanied by: a gigantic gift package lovingly prepared by the Cancer Support Division in Bnei Brak and delivered en route by another driver who coordinated the meeting of the two vehicles. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a glorious day, surrounded by ocean waves, sky and sunshine. A huge dose of Vitamin Happiness. Amid the palpable joy , the couple would glance at the boats, fully understanding that a boat ride was not for them now. They were parents. Responsible for their baby.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ezer Mizion ambulance drivers are not just drivers. As much as their hands guide the vehicle, their hearts guide their actions.  The couple\u2019s driver, Harel Ma\u2019agar, noticed their glances. A professional Certified Ambulance Driver, and a Certified EMT, our hero earned another title, perhaps the most gratifying of all. \u201cWould you like to take a boat out? I\u2019ll babysit for this cute baby if you like.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So many threads woven together to create the fabric of Ezer Mizion, a fabric composed of caring, compassion, understanding, kindness and love.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel by ambulance is often the only option for a person confined to a wheelchair or a bed. Regular treatments or therapy require the patient to travel to the clinic and incur astronomical expenses on a weekly basis. Israel\u2019s health insurance funds cover transportation costs only for specific types of treatments \u2013 and even then, only up to 50% of the cost will be refunded. Ezer Mizion, with its fleet of 20 ambulances, offers comfortable ambulance transport to destinations throughout the country \u2013 at no charge, saving Israel\u2019s handicapped population millions of dollars a year. The Ezer Mizion Ambulance and Transport Division was established to allow these people to transcend their physical challenges and get from one place to another safely, comfortably and with dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
