We are deeply grateful for your help and support every single time.
Today, however, was different.
My father had an appointment at a new eye clinic in Ra’anana, a place he had never visited before. My plan was to meet him there and be by his side, but at the last minute my car broke down, and I was unable to make it.
Your ambulance driver, Avi, provided nothing short of extraordinary service.
Because this was an unfamiliar location, Avi didn’t simply drop my father off at the entrance and leave. Instead, he escorted him all the way inside the clinic.
There was some confusion upon arrival, and the staff mistakenly thought he was scheduled for a dental appointment rather than an eye appointment. Avi immediately took responsibility for helping resolve the situation. He called me to clarify what was happening and then patiently waited for about twenty minutes until everything was sorted out and my father was properly checked in at the eye clinic.
He never left my father’s side. He took care of his ID, verified the appointment details with the reception staff, and made absolutely sure that my father was accepted and received the care he needed.
Avi’s kindness, dedication, and compassion truly warmed our hearts.
Knowing that there are drivers like Avi on your team, people you can genuinely trust with your loved ones, is an incredible comfort and blessing. Thank you, Ezer Mizion, for your ongoing support and for the invaluable service you provide day after day.
And a very special thank you to Avi. You are truly one of a kind.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Gedalia

Avi is truly one of a kind. And so are all the members of the Ezer Mizion Ambulance team. They are called ‘drivers’ but they do so much more than drive.

A young oncology patient was transported to a radiation treatment center outside Jerusalem.

After treatment, his condition worsened significantly, developing a fever and a severe adverse reaction. When our driver noticed his condition upon discharge, he immediately consulted with the family and offered to rush him to Hadassah Medical Center for emergency care.

The parents agreed, and thanks to quick thinking and urgent action, the child received critical treatment just in time.

A powerful reminder of vigilance, compassion, and being ready to act when every moment
