Thank you so much for carrying out the “Make a Wish” program with Mr. Y. E., a resident of our institution for the last six years. Words cannot express what an uplifting and emotional experience it was for Mr. E. – s
tarting from the trip itself, and on through all the life landmarks he visited – the Kotel, the neighborhood in which he lived-Beit Yisrael, the Karlin Chassidic Center, the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, and finally the cemetery, where he was able to visit the graves of his parents.
Special honorable mention must be given to the unbelievable dedication and warmth that the two drivers accompanying Mr. E. displayed throughout the day. Without their concerted efforts and gracious assistance, such as by supporting Mr. E. in climbing countless stairs in all the places we visited, the project could not possibly have been carried out so successfully.
Special thanks also to Ronit, whose determination and dedication saw the project through from beginning to end.
