Dearest Donor, First let me apologize that this note is not in Hebrew. I speak fluently but my reading and writing skills are somewhat limited. Of course there are not enough words to thank you for what you have done for me and I am forever grateful. Just so you know, since we are not allowed to know your name, for the time being we have nicknamed you “Chaim” because that is exactly what you meant to me and my family in giving me life! So far I am a little more than four months after my transplant and am doing pretty well. Still a long journey for me but I pray everyday that when I am fully recovered and able, to take a trip to Israel (I haven’t been in over 5 years) and thank you in person. It is amazing what you have done for me, it really is a miracle. With much warmth, affection and gratitude, Your Recipient |
