Every Child – a Diamond
High-ranking figures in Israel’s diamond industry participated last week in a modest, moving ceremony at the new Children’s Ward in Ma’ayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak.
The ceremony took place in the company of friends and relatives of the donors, who chose to memorialize the beloved and cherished patriarch of their family, Reb Eliezer Zilberman (Henig) z”l with a contribution towards construction of a beautiful, modern dining room for the ward, to benefit the hospitalized children and their families.
Dr. Moshe Rothschild, Founder and President of the Medical Center, spoke emotionally of the great merit that these family members have in contributing for such a lofty purpose of doing chessed with the patients and their escorts.
Rabbi Chananya Chollak, International Chairman of Ezer Mizion, was honored with affixing the mezuzah on the doorpost of the new dining hall.
The role Rabbi Chollak played in the dining hall dedication and inauguration reflects the flourishing relationship shared by Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital and Ezer Mizion. In addition to being neighbors with adjacent facilities, the organizations partner on many projects, most noteworthy in the area of medical referrals, patient support and mental health treatment and rehabilitation.
