inboxShe could have been living down the block from us but no one knew. She was a victim of terror with psychological wounds that never healed. Physically she was not in good shape either. She had been diagnosed in February with a severe lung infection and was extremely weak. Alone in Israel and helpless, she turned to the only address she knew. And that was how an Ezer Mizion director found a heartrending email in her inbox.

The doctor told me no crowds, no stores. . . no social. . .

All alone. It is a very tough time and I have no way to make an income. . .

Please advise.

Please send your address and phone number. We’d like to help.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. . . Your words sound like a hug. . .

I’m so tired of being alone . . I live in Tel Aviv, in the North, we now have a covid outbreak here. . .

I was at the doctor today and i have another infection.   She let me know, I’m am VERY HIGH RISK!!! I cannot really go anywhere, safely these days LLL

My address is xxx. My phone number is 0000000.

Thank you for just acknowledging me. . . This situation is becoming very serious. I’m so very scared. I have lost more than 16 lbs in a few weeks. . . .  Toda raba

The case was investigated by Ezer Mizion’s Tel Aviv branch.

It didn’t take the Tel Aviv Ezer Mizion branch long to get into action.

WOW WOW WOW. . . thank you so much.

I cannot believe how i have had to beg for veggies and produce for MONTHS!!!

And WOW, am I grateful. This was awesome!!!! THANK YOU!!!

I had a dream last night that I wanted to make shashkuka but I didn’t have any vegetables. In my dream, I got a phone call asking for my address. The voice said he has veggies and other things for me.  When I woke up my dream actually came true. There was a knock at the door. IT WAS AMAZING. . . peppers and tomatoes overflowing.  .

. . and wow. . i should have taken a photo. . .

But, with my messy hallway i just wanted to sterilize and get the things in quickly. . . and I did. . .

and I stopped my whole day. . . and just made shakshuka. .

And to think that all this will be coming regularly. AMAZING. AMAZING DAY!!!. Awesome. Thank you! This is the first time i saw something like this since I’ve been in isolation from February. . . SO THANK YOU! J That was a huge smile.
